Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been won on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player claimed his maiden championship for 882 days with success over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging period, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in particular - caused him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now training with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks his first title following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hardcourt after March of the previous year.
Success also signifies he has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one various events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a tournament with my children together, so to get a title is particularly special," said world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I achieved when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his last six finals, featuring in that event earlier this year.
The player's defensive play style and frequent reactions on the playing surface had led commentators to question if his skill to perform at the elite level was concluded.
However the player has made changes in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and play aggressively, supported by an improved service.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the initial set against the challenging opponent, securing 4 of the last five points to go ahead.
Both players traded breaks in the second set before the challenger, striving for his initial tour victory, seized the initiative to push for a third set.
The opponent defended four early chances in a competitive final set before the Russian secured a break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned the title with a point at the net area, with the Frenchman unable to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
